Maybe this is because I'm a girl or maybe it's because I watched this out of boredom but I absoulutly hated this movie. I couldn't even sit through the first half an hour without wandering. I found it hard not to laugh at especially when the guy gets a tankfull of water poured on him and doesn't even get wet! I love Tom Cruise even though he is an awful actor I think he is the quintissential movie star. But that Depalma is a crap director. God he is such a wannabe Scorcese. Scarface, if it's possible was even crapier than this. Ugh I cant say enough............

Mission-Impossible is about ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his mission of finding out about a NOC list.His team of men and women die early in the film.Which stinks because Emilio Estevez played a cool role. Mission Impossibles theme song is catchy and worth humming to...but NOTHING comapred to James Bond theme song.Mission Impossible has twists and turns and good action,but some stuff doesnt make sense.Good movie...

Mission Impossible is an action movie that has a great plot, great acting and amazing visuals. This is one of my favorite Cruise movies. Jon Voight does a great job and even Emilio Estevez is good in his smaller role. Too bad he dies. At least he got a chance to be in a big movie. I didn't think that this movie was excellant. I didn't like how so many people died at once so fast. The movie takes a while for you to understand. You probably have to watch it twice. I just understood it today. The movie is cool though, the gadgets are cool, the situations are nerve wrecking. There are many explosions. Ethan Hunt ("Tom Cruise") plays an assasin who works with a company in the CIA. His Mission is to get a disc. It is some what interesting. Action fans will eat this up.

I was a great fan of the Mission Impossible TV series. This movie does not measure up in anyway to the worst episode in the TV series. There's no real plot and the movie lacks the technique and thought provoking edge of the TV series. Then they have the extreme poor taste to make one of the hero's of the original TV series the villian of this piece of crap. It would have been better off with another name. As with most remakes in Hollywood these days it falls far short of the mark.

So the newest spy from Paramount is here. There is a lot of original ideas. For one, the movie starts out as a mission to gain certain data stole from the United States Government. This shows that the mission wsa really impossible. Everybody own the strike team dies in a different way except Eathen Hunt (Tom Cruise). This part of the movie is extremely violent. People are stabbed, shot, blown out of this world. This leads to Eathen being kicked off the team as the suspect of being an inside man for the other side. In other words, he was almost annhialated with a peice of exploding gum. This was their way to get rid of Eathen Hunt. This also leads him to make deals that should lead him to the people he needs. However, part of the deal was to get the real copy of the data, which happens to have to be stolen. This is a great movie and should be worth checking out. However, it has a lot of violence in it. Not as much as a James Bond movie but it still has a good amount of it.

This movie is by far one of best films of all time! It's an A from top to bottom, filled with fantastic special effects and explosives, great acting, great and unsespected plot twists, which include switching from good, yay!, to evil, arrg! This movie probably contains the most peril I have ever seen in a film, really. Not dangerous peril, but the peril of getting in deep, deep, deep trouble. Completely unpredictable. Awesome music, too! This movie is almost perfect. One thing, in my opinion, that I didn't like, was the fact that the movie covered some scenes that could have been great in an image, but, still a little gory. Anyway, the movie takes out an unbelieveable action and is perfect for anyone that just likes plain action mixed with suspense and filled with thrills!

The plot in this movie was all about coruption in the IMF. Tom Cruise is right in the middle of all of it. He is the one that as been accused of being corupted. Tom Cruise has to get to the bottom of it all just to get back to the job that he likes. If he does not then he might end up dead. A movie that will keep you on the edge of ur chair.

Each series had director's own styles. Second and third one had bright visuals, storylines not that great, almost only actions(even though they were good). This movie almost only had storylines, dark visual, and almost no action. This style is the best style for Mission Impossible. Only action isn't good style for spy movies.
